HISTORY OF OVER A DECADE

Bhoomika Group of Eye Hospitals made a beginning in healthcare with the establishment of its 1st Eye Hospital at Jaraka, Jajpur in the year 2009. It was a 10 bedded hospital that started to serve the people of Jaraka. Today, Bhoomika Group of Eye Hospitals, after successfully conducting two lakh eye surgeries in 13 of its Eye hospitals, has set a new benchmark of service delivery in the last mile of underserved Odisha. Bhoomika Group is confidently pacing the path of manning 17 Eye hospitals by March 2022.

Low cost, high-quality surgeries cure blindness for people like Wendy. Over 50% of blindness is caused by cataracts which can be cured by a 15-minute surgery costing as little as $50.

Starting with a 10-bed eye hospital in 2009, Bhoomika has covered a lot of ground since. It has made a difference to 4 million precious live within the State of Odisha, giving them the light of vision, a life of dignity, and the means to a productive life.
